
Established in 1926 in the present place, "OSAKAYA" was named since the founder from Osaka prefecture opened
its door as the icecream shop.
And then after that, we started to provide SUKIYAKI - thinly sliced beef, tofu and seasonable vegetables stewed
in sweetened soy source - at the lower price, because SUKIYAKI was well-known as a dish for cerebration in
Osaka. Surrounded by a lot of movie theaters in downtown NAKASU, there had been more and more regular customers
Since 1980, HAKATA-ISHIYAKI - roast fresh sea foods, beef and vegetables on the stone plate - has become the
recommendation menu, and added to the shop name. It has been very popular amongst our customers from home, and
from abroad recently.
